Thank you for your question and for your photos. Based on your photos provided, you are an ideal candidate for fillers I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a board certified expert injector for a detailed examination to discuss all possible treatment options and what your expectations are.
Hi there, and thanks for sharing your photos and question. It does seem like you’re experiencing some facial volume loss and hollowness in your mid-face area, which could be contributing to the appareance of nasolabial folds. Dermal fillers work by “plumping” the skin’s appearance, which should fill in these spaces. Work with an experienced cosmetic surgeon for the best results. Best of luck!
Although your photos do not show your upper face, it is the upper face that almost always causes changes within the nano-labial folds. Injecting the naso-labial folds in your case would be, honestly, a waste of your money since it almost never adds anything to the facial aesthetics. Unfortunately, the nano-labial folds remain the most common area of the injections. More frequently than not the injectors are train first on the nano-labial folds that are considered "easy". Avoid those injections and review your past and present photos to follow the changes in your upper face including temples and cheeks. Good luck!
Hello Signoproto,Gaining weight may add weight to the wrong areas. As we age we lose the fatty pads in our face which puts the heaviness to the nasolabial folds, leaving a depression to the area.By looking at your photos, it appears you are a great candidate for a Dermal Filler to the nasolabial folds.Hope this is helpful,
It is difficult to guess your age from the photographs you have submitted, but it does appear that there is some mid-face hollowness as you may have lost a significant amount of weight which would be the cause of what you are observing. If gaining weight is not an option to feel and look better, an option of doing some fat transfer to hollowed areas of the face will help you retain the facial features you once had when you were my younger. Good luck from York City
This is a line rather than a fold, so you would be an ideal candidate for fillers. You could put the filler in the line itself, either at skin level or deeper, or in the cheeks to lift the whole area. This depends on the finer assessment of your face that the doctor will perform. Best not to gain weight if you are at or near your ideal BMI. Most weight gained returns to the body even though it was lost from the face!!
You can improve the arch on your right eyebrow with a neuromodulator. such as Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport. This will indeed raise your eyelid skin slightly so that it doesn’t look so droopy. Reshaping the brows with neuromodulators is an advanced procedure that requires expertise, so please c...
To be fair I have to disagree with your statement that nurses don’t know about medications, but the knowledge of medication alone doesn’t qualify them to be injectors. Botox and other injectables require a detailed and precise knowledge of the anatomy of the face. In certain states nurses are...
The ability to inject Botox is not really the issue. Each state has very specific laws governing the scope of practice anyone with a license is permitted to perform. In my state dental assistants would not legally be allowed to perform Botox injections. The bigger question is why would you ch...
Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your CRPS. CRPS does not prevent a patient from obtaining Botox but I would alert your injector to your full medical history. Hope this helps.
Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your eyelid ptosis issues. As your facial muscles move they expend enough energy that they may tire as the day progresses, worsening your eyelid sagging. In the morning after a night’s rest they should be strong enough to again elev...
