For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling and expedite healing. Walking after liposuction should be fine. Be sure to wear your compression garment while walking. Lymphatic massage is very helpful as well and can dramatically speed recovery and swelling resolution. Ask your plastic surgeon what their postop regimen is in particular.
Typically this would not be an issue, however if it is more severe, then I would place you on some Doxy for at least a couple weeks before to help it calm down.
