Will a compression garment leave permanent indents? 1 day post liposuction.

Question

I had lipo of abdomen, flanks and outer thighs yesterday. The garment is tight at the upper ribs, under my breasts. Will it leave permanent indents and make the end result look weird? Also my labia is bruised and swollen. They garment isn’t helping that either. Anything I can do to get the swelling go down “down there”? Thanks.

Although compression garments, when worn carefully, are extremely beneficial for achieving a nicer and quicker result, large skin folds should be carefully “unfolded “ each time the garment is being put back on. Otherwise, unpleasant permanent folds and/or shin color changes can occur, taking away from the final results. Swelling is usually the worst in the most dependent part of the liposuction area, in your case the labia. It can be minimized by lowering the garment onto that area or wearing additional circumferential garment directly for the labia.
