Hi, I was wondering if it is detrimental to lay one one's stomach for massage after breast implants. Will it cause or worsen lateral displacement? I already have some lateral displacement but want to enjoy a massage now and then, although not at the risk of worsening my outcome. Btw, I am over a year post op. Thanks in advance for your input!

Thank you for your question. Theoretically, this is possible, but you would need a fairly large dose to prevent the muscle from moving the implant. This would need to be done 2-3 times per year, and can become very costly. I personally use Botox in the chest muscle of my patients preoperatively....
All my patients are strongly recommended to wear a push up style bra during exercise. After observing my patients for seven years, I don't see much difference in sagging in my exercise patients and my non- exercise group. Best Wishes!!
