I had my rhinoplasty on September 14th 2022, prior to this my nostrils were even and now they're noticeably odd. I have a feeling they're going to stay this way, and I'm going to have to have a revision
Answer: Would you consider a permanent nonsurgical nose job? Based on your photos, you appear to have nostril asymmetry where your left nostril appears higher than your right. Depending on your examination, micro droplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for permanently lowering the high side procedures are performed with topical anesthetic, and there is no downtime. Hope this helps. Dr. Joseph.

Answer: Rhinoplasty recovery: what you should know Thank you for your question and photos. Though much of the swelling is reduced within four months, your nose will be in a phase of recovery for at least one year following your initial rhinoplasty. It is generally suggested to wait until this entire recovery process is complete to see the final results before considering a revision procedure. If you still feel that your nostrils appear asymmetrical after the full recovery phase, a revision can bring your nostrils into balance and produce a more desirable result. Keep in mind that each subsequent nose surgery becomes more complex due to the loss of structural support, scar tissue, and other factors. The importance of experience, expertise, and artistry cannot be overstated. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques.

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. It's been almost 7 months since you had rhinoplasty surgery. You may still have some swelling. Anyway even if you have swelling the nostrils really look uneven. The tip seems a bit bulbous and the left nostril is bigger that the right one. I recommend you a revision rhinoplasty surgery. Best regards!

Answer: Rhinoplasty It is not uncommon for nostrils to appear uneven after rhinoplasty, especially in the early stages of the healing process. Swelling and bruising can also affect the appearance of the nostrils, making them look asymmetrical. It is important to give your nose time to heal before considering any revision surgery. Typically, it can take up to a year for the full results of a rhinoplasty to be visible, and some minor asymmetries may resolve on their own as the nose continues to heal. It is also important to communicate your concerns with your surgeon and have them evaluate your nose to determine the cause of the asymmetry and whether a revision is necessary. If a revision is recommended, your surgeon can discuss the best approach and the expected outcome with you. In the meantime, it is important to follow your surgeon's post-operative care instructions carefully, including avoiding strenuous activity, not blowing your nose, and keeping your head elevated while sleeping, to ensure the best possible outcome from your rhinoplasty. I hope this helps, best of luck!
