Thank you for your question. Makeup will not affect how your surgeon address your eyelids during your consutlation, however, it is important that you do not show up to the surgery and the operating table with any makeup. Always consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,

You can have blepharoplasty at age 30 as long as you have fat in the lower eyelids with excess skin.  You have both.RegardsDr. J
