I've recently undergone an upper bleph procedure and my left eye doesn't have normal function as it won't close properly. I've been doing some research and I believe the muscle that we use to close our eyes, has been damaged or removed. Can you tell me if this can be fixed? Of course my concern is asymmetry and the overall look but I'm more concerned about my quality of life and ability to function as I'm getting severe tension migraines and blurry vision.
I had an upper blephroplasty, ptosis repair and eyelid filler with Belotero in Jan 2022. Now I feel like my eyes are hooded and I can see the filler. Would it be wise to dissolve the filler to see if it opens up my eyes again. I dont like how hooded I look now as opposed to my pre op eyes. Could this possibly be related to brow ptosis now? I routinely get Botox as well however it hasnt helped much. I dont get any Botox in my forehead and havent for 2 years. I miss having more lid show.
Im extremely unhappy with lower eyelid surgery. My eyelid incision is noticeably lower on my left eye than my right. I understand nothing is perfect but this is difference is extreme to me. Will I need a revision? Can lasers actually erase this incision line so its barely noticeable without makeup? Im in my forties and wanted my eyes rejuvenated not this asymmetry that everyone can definitely see. I can barely look in the mirror.
I had an upper and lower bleph surgery with fat transfer and neck lipo in March 2022. My left eye looks asymmetrical and hooded. I developed severe eye dryness. My right eye is constantly red, but the shape is much better than the left. But I still have a pocket under my eye. The position of fat on my face makes it look deformed, and the marionette lines are even more noticeable. My neck also needs repair. What is the most feasible issue to correct first? What procedures could help me?
Day 15 post: lower bleph + fat bag removal + fat grafting under eyes/cheek + co2 laser.. Both eyelids look smaller/slanted, assymetrical with the right side much worse: as if insufficient lower eyelid skin/slanted/smaller/tighter/squinting appearance, in field of vision, extremely bothersome. Are sutures considered a canthopexy? Is it reversible? Can it be loosened/reverted to the original anatomical position? How soon is a revision possible?
I flew to Istanbul to have my eyelids done. It was promoted as an almond eye surgery wit a 100% success rate and no scarring. See here, scarring and uneven eyes. I was invited for a revision but the doctor does not want to tell me his approach to fixing this. What are my options? Can this be fixed?
I had an upper blepharoplasty about 7 months ago. While I do notice a slight difference, my eyelid still droops on both sides (one more than the other) and my eyelashes rest on the lid. My surgeon said she couldn't take anymore skin or I wouldn't be able to close my eyes, even though there seems like plenty. She suggested a brow lift now but said I didn't need one at my initial consult and that my brows were aligned with brow bones. Can this be fixed? If so, how?
Hello. I had upper bleph with fat repositioning two months ago. I hate the results and want my old lids back. My crease and eyelids would retract as the day went on and became high and a little hollow. I wanted this height to remain permanently instead of later in the day. The doctor recommended fat repositioning and he cut the crease low and not rounded like my original. Now they are heavy and smaller and I wish I could turn back time. Ive been told it cannot be reversed. Is there a solution?
Had double ptosis and (mini)blepharoplasty surgery on March 22. Eyelids are asymmetrical and different sizes.Unsure which was done wrong and if I should get another doctor to correct it.
