Hi all, I am a young male seeking your input on my eye region. I would like to correct the slope of my lower eyelid, which is currently negative, to one that is positive, or least neutral. If you know of any non-surgical means of doing this, please let me know. If not, what are my surgical options and what would they, roughly, be priced at? Thanks!
61 y-o male. Had upper and lower bleph nearly two years ago to correct fairly severe eye bags. Since the surgery, the area under my eyes has progressively hollowed, particularly on the right where there is a slight divot. Before I contact the surgeon, I would like to get a professional assessment of the work done. It seems to me that he overcorrected. Wondering if I'm being realistic about expectations and what remedies might be available. Thanks in advance.
Hello, I've always had hereditary bags under my eyes. Exacerbated if I'm tired or allergies are acting up, but always very present. Never appearing energetic is not good for my work life, or life in general. This procedure doesn't break the bank- would you consider it a no brainer, or is there a better alternative?
I had lower eyelid fat repositioning in South Korea over six months ago. Everything recovered smoothly however when I am laughing or smiling hard now, there are these line protrusions under my eyes. The doctor assured me this was part of the healing when they were very prominent two months in but they remain there. I am very sad because it is counter to the goals of the procedure, is this something that would require additional surgery? Also can anyone tell me what this is?
I had an upper and lower bleph surgery with fat transfer and neck lipo in March 2022. My left eye looks asymmetrical and hooded. I developed severe eye dryness. My right eye is constantly red, but the shape is much better than the left. But I still have a pocket under my eye. The position of fat on my face makes it look deformed, and the marionette lines are even more noticeable. My neck also needs repair. What is the most feasible issue to correct first? What procedures could help me?
Day 15 post: lower bleph + fat bag removal + fat grafting under eyes/cheek + co2 laser.. Both eyelids look smaller/slanted, assymetrical with the right side much worse: as if insufficient lower eyelid skin/slanted/smaller/tighter/squinting appearance, in field of vision, extremely bothersome. Are sutures considered a canthopexy? Is it reversible? Can it be loosened/reverted to the original anatomical position? How soon is a revision possible?
I planned my upper and lower blepharoplasty and possible correction of upper eyelids ptosis . I forgot I am having surgery in 2 weeks and I had dysport injection for crows feet and under my eyebrows last week. I amy doctor and he said there is no problem and he wants to go ahead with the surgery. Doesnt that creat problem since my eye muscles are relaxed at the moment due to dyaport injection ? What are gonna be the complications if I do the eyelids surgery now?
I hate my eyes and I want to do something to feel better in my life. I have low myopia, my thyroid is clean. My eyes are bulging a bit though and lower eyelids are poorly positioned. Should I do an orbital decompression too? Thank you!
3 years ago I received several consults for my dark circles. Consensus was I could get a bleph, but had little fat to remove or reposition and consider waiting. The surgeon I felt comfortable with said if I moved forward he would do transconjuctival. Going back this time he said he would do transcutaneous to reposition fat (no transfer) with skin pinch. Everything Ive read about retraction, ectropian, etc. have higher risk via transcutaneous. I'd rather transconjunctival is safest to avoid lid retraction, ectropian, etc. - but also want to remove extra skin and pull muscle tighter. How is this usually done? Thoughts? Do I still seem too early for a procedure
