One year ago I had 2cc of voluma. It was great but after 6 months I feel like 50% of the effect had dissipated. This month I'd like to move forward with a chin implant. I feel like there is no more voluma left in my chin, though it has only been 1 year. Is it necessary and important to dissolve the voluma first before moving forward with the desired silicone implant?

Answer: Should Voluma in chin for 1 year be dissolved before having chin implant?
It's acceptable undergo a chin implant at age 18 since the mandible has stopped growing at that point. Chin implants are manufactured in a large array of thicknesses, sizes, and shapes. They're usually placed under local anesthesia through submental incision as an outpatient procedure.
Hello, thank you for your question. An in-person examination is needed, I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
These are usually dynamic. I have had occasional success with botox in the mentalis muscle. Jaw surgery in itself doesnt address the muscle.
However thru a small incision lets one excise the droopy muscle...i have had the most success doing this. This is a small procedure.
