I am 20 years old and I have a recessed face. I would like to have a forward grown face. Indeed, a recessed face is less aesthetic than a forward grown face, it looks more tired and less healthy. The space between the chin and the neck is less developed and the face look old and less open. So, I would like to correct this. Is it possible at my age to growth forward my face or is it too late? If it's possible, what solutions can I have? Thanks

These are usually dynamic. I have had occasional success with botox in the mentalis muscle. Jaw surgery in itself doesnt address the muscle.
However thru a small incision lets one excise the droopy muscle...i have had the most success doing this. This is a small procedure.
It is hard to say if your result is because of a poor selection of implant shape/size, or if it was placed in a suboptimal anatomical position. The best solution for you would be a customized chin implant to be placed after removal of your current implant.
Dear la2754,
it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
