Hi there. I have 3 kids and after pregnancies some loose skin on my abdomen. But can't decide what procedure would give better results for my case. I don't really want to have the tummy tuck scar but if the J plasma won't be effective I better have the scar then a no result surgery. Could you help me decide please?
Answer: Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) post pregnancy Hello, and thank you for your question. Without seeing you in person, I would suggest that non-surgical procedures will not address the combination of loose skin, muscle separation and infra-umbilical fat deposits as suitably as surgical intervention in your scenario. Please consult with an appropriately-qualified plastic surgeon though for a thorough assessment, so that you can make an informed decision regarding your available options. Kind regards, Dr Matthew Peters

Answer: Another great option would be to do morpheus8 treatments Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Nonsurgical Stomach Skin Tightening -- Vanquish, truSculpt, Venus, Exilis, Cellutone/ZWave vs VASER Hi-Def Lipo & Tummy Tuck In truth, non-surgical options give only mild improvement compared to surgical lifting. Skin tightening can be done with a combination of Vanquish, truSculpt iD, Venus Legacy, Exilis, Cellutone/Zwave. However, for best results, a Tummy Tuck procedure can be combined with a high definition procedure at the same time. For best results, I recommend VASER HI-DEF Liposuction with ThermiRF, Renuvion, InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi-definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Abdominoplasty Abdominoplasty or "tummy tuck" is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to make the abdomen thinner and more firm. The surgery involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall.

Answer: J plasma vs tummy tuck Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note fatty accumulation below the umbilicus, the presence of stretch marks (where the dermal fibers of the dermis have ruptured, permanently overstretching the skin), and an abdominal bulge which may be composed of fatty tissue, or more likely, rectus muscle separation as the result of multiple pregnancies. There is minimal abdominal "overhang". The J plasma device emits ionized radiofrequency energy and helium gas energy to the skin, causing a moderate degree of skin tightening. It will not affect the underlying fat or the muscle separation. I feel that abdominoplasty will provide you with a superior result.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for in-person evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
