I am 19 days s/p adominoplasty along with breast augmentation/mastopexy and liposuction of hips/flanks. I had my first drain removed about post op day 10 and still have a second drain. The second drain has had 30cc or less x 7 days now with a color change to serous fluid occuring appx 5 days ago. I am concerned of developing infection. Is this normal to leave a drain in so long? I am 5/3 125 lbs, non-smoker non-diabetic.

The use of paper tape or steri strip is to take the pressure off the incisions. If you are having concerns over its use, express your concerns to your surgeon and he/she may be able to better guide you.
You should be able to take aspirin and aspirin containing products two weeks after surgery without any complications. You should check with your surgeon first. Good luck.
To reduce the risk of burns and infection in particular, all piercings need to be removed from your body. All other jewelry also needs to be removed. You can remove everything on the day of your surgery, and please leave it all at home for safekeeping.
