Answer: Infected drain site Thanks for reaching out. I think it does look concerning for a localized infection. It is important to be examined in person to be sure. You may need antibiotics to keep the infection from spreading.I hope this helps :)

Answer: How can I tell if my Tummy Tuck drain site is infected? (Photos) Sometimes areas along the incision line where the drain was removed heal poorly or begin to separate. Usually additional antibiotics are not needed unless you have a fever and redness over an extended area. Because pain has worsened in the last 48 hours, I recommend that you follow up with your PS.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Tummy tuck drain Hello and thank you for your question and photo's. Typically the drain site is closed by now, it may just be a small local infection, you can run it by your PS for reassurance. I would apply neosporin twice a day .
