Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Although it does not appear infected based on your pictures, it would be best to see your surgeon as this has been a change in your recovery process. Hope this helps.
Thanks for reaching out. I think it does look concerning for a localized infection. It is important to be examined in person to be sure. You may need antibiotics to keep the infection from spreading.I hope this helps :)
Sometimes areas along the incision line where the drain was removed heal poorly or begin to separate. Usually additional antibiotics are not needed unless you have a fever and redness over an extended area. Because pain has worsened in the last 48 hours, I recommend that you follow up with your PS.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Though your drain site does not appear to be infected, it is concerning that the pain has worsened in the area. The drain site typically has closed after 10 days as well. I encourage you to contact your surgeon for an evaluation.
Hello and thank you for your question and photo's. Typically the drain site is closed by now, it may just be a small local infection, you can run it by your PS for reassurance. I would apply neosporin twice a day .

The risk of infection with a tummy tuck is relatively low. Good sterile technique, healthy patients and patients following the pre and postoperative instructions minimize the risk of infection. The season of surgery doesn’t appear to play a role and summertime tummy tucks are frequently prefo...
Liposuction and tummy tuck, which resects fat, will decrease your percentage of body fat. The tummy tuck I recommend is abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced w...
