Is it normal for the mon pubis to be puffy after tummy tuck I’m 11days Post Op and I’m loving my results my PS stated to leave my bandages on until 2 weeks can the tape cause infections and the surgical binder kinda hurts can I wear a different compression garments like a faja and still achieve the same results

Hello Elea,Great question. Thank you for your pictures. Your images do not clearly show your mons pubis swelling. However, you are still very early in your recovery, it is normal for swelling to be present. Follow your surgeon's post op instructions.

Glad to hear you are loving your results! You are still very early on in the recovery phase- therefore this is normal. Your body is still swollen and likely very sore. I recommend post-operative massage therapy to aid in draining excess fluids and alleviating muscle soreness. (check out video below) As for the binder, I recommend using what was given to you by your surgeon until directed otherwise. Refer back to them for questions regarding your recovery.

Congratulations on your surgery!  Swelling is common and expected after a tummy tuck, and this can include the mons pubis area.  If your compression garment is uncomfortable I encourage you to speak with your surgeon who can check the fit.  Compression garments should feel snug and supportive, but not too tight.

Yes, it is entirely normal for the Mons to swell after a TT - gravity drains downwards and thus the fluid etc will accumulate there as to is the lowest point of your abdomen. The other point to consider is that if your abdomen underwent liposuction but nt your mons then your mons will appear larger and more puffy looking when compared to the thinner abdominal tissue directly above.
Regarding the garments  - I would advise you follow your PS advice.
