while there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.

Hello! So the first part in answering your question is determining how far out from liposuction you are. Swelling and skin contraction can take time, and I usually recommend waiting 6 months to fully evaluate the result. If after that amount of time, you still have laxity, your options would be a tummy tuck vs something that will help skin contract. I use Renuvion, which uses helium plasma to tighten the skin. It is surgical, but uses minimal scarring and has less downtime than a tummy tuck. So, give your result time, and then discuss with your surgeon to see what they can offer. Best of luck!
