I went to Dr. Babbitt for a consultation for a tummy tuck. His office was very nice and clean and modern. The staff was very nice. Dr. Babbitt has a wonderful bedside manner. He is very personable. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and not make you feel rushed. I think paid consultations tend to give you a little bit extra. When I'm ready to do my surgery, I will choose Dr. Babbitt. Their quote came within less than $100 of another quote I received from another office. Updated on 27 Apr 2024: I chose Dr. Babbitt after going to a few different surgeons in the Boston area. Scheduling a consultation was very easy. After selecting him, I booked my surgery for 6 months out. Surgery day arrived and I was not nervous at all. It was such a calm and welcoming environment, unlike a hospital. Everything was explained to me so I knew what to expect. All of his staff is wonderful. Surgery went great. No issues at all. We stayed in a hotel near his office to make it easy for the next day appointment. I'm healing really well. I am thrilled with my outcome. Of course wish I had done a breast lift at the same time. Anyone who has seen my scar has asked for his name. Don't hesitate booking a consultation with Dr. Babbitt. He and his amazing staff will take great care of you!
Where do I begin? I had been contemplating a “mommy makeover” since my second son was born. I saw numerous doctors for consults and after meeting Dr. Babbitt I knew he was the one I would trust. Nurses make the worst patients and I am guilty of this. Dr. Babbitt always answered my questions without judgement. He was straight forward and honest with what procedures would be best for MY body. Anytime I called the office they called me back within 20-30 minutes tops (communication is key for a successful post op experience).I am 6 weeks post op from a tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo to the flanks & breast lift (no implant). Sometimes I look down and forget this is my body. Thank you!
I have had the best experience with this Dr he is unbelievable and amazing at what he does. Some patients you go in & out and and Dr's do what they want to your body not Dr Babbitt he listens. He is also very honest and will tell you to save your money if you don't need to spend it on surgeries. His prices are also very reasonable he is one of the best out there by far.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Babbitt and his staff. One day out of surgery and I'm loving my results. No implants. So far not much pain. He is very professional and listened to what I wanted done and the results are pretty amazing. He hit it out of the park! Updated on 29 Sep 2022: Updated on 29 Sep 2022:
I waited until I was 50 and wish I had done it ten years earlier. Went from a sagging 36I to a perky 36 D/DD. Look just like my old ones. I barely have scars and was up and at it two weeks later. Highly recommend. Insurance covered mine so not sure about the cost. Dr. Babbitt and his NP Christina DeVincent are awesome and everything went just as he said.
I had a tummy tuck back in 2017. With this being my first surgical procedure ever, I was unaware of how badly I would scar. The procedure itself went well, the surgeon did a great job! However, my scaring was not so great! Dr. Babbitt has gone out of his way to revise the scars more than once in order to attempt to make them look the best they possibly can and help me feel good about my appearance. It’s now been 4yrs and Dr. Babbitt is still trying to help me achieve the best look and outcome. I cannot thank him enough for his patience and willingness to help me! It has truly meant so much to me! In my experience, he has been nothing but honest, to the point, and just awesome! He will not tell you something can be done, just to make money, if it cannot or will not produce a desirable outcome! He has shown genuine care and concern. His office staff are also awesome from the front desk to his surgi-tech! I would definitely recommend Dr. Babbitt and his awesome team!!
I cannot express how happy I am with my decision to go with Dr Babbitt - he was phenomenal , made me feel so confident in my choice he didn’t sugar coat anything and gave me exactly what I was looking for! I’ve cried many happy tears and I’m so very thankful. He truly lives up to his name as a perfectionist. His staff is amazing and everyone over at the surgery clinic was welcoming and caring as well, Recovery has been a breeze, I literally couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart may god continue to bless you all
After losing 75 lbs, it was time to address the loose skin I was left with. I had a consultation with Christina DeVincent PA who was honest and informative. On February 1, 2021 I had a bilateral mastopexy with an abdominal lipectomy and muscle plication. Surgery went great! Dr Babbitt and Cindy were amazing, as well as the staff at the facility. I had no nausea after anesthesia. I'm now one month out and THRILLED with my results. I can't thank Plastic Surgery of Southern New England enough!
I used this site to make my decision regarding a procedure I have been wanting for a good six years. My breasts were naturally saggier than most women, with larger areolas. I had been sized in Bras for a 32DDD/34DD. I loved my breast size, but I felt very self conscious about their droopiness and my pointing down nipples. Dr. Babbitt and his whole team made me feel at ease and comfortable. He met with me no matter how many times I needed to speak with him regarding my procedure. His office always promptly answered my questions and made my appointments through text, call and email. This was the most stress free, confidence boosting and easy procedure, and I am glad I chose Dr. Babbitt. Dr. Babbitt is my first choice in every aspect because of the amazing service of himself and his whole staff. If you are deciding doctors, Dr. Babbitt has the results and the best staff to guide you through it. Special shout out to Brandi, Meghann, Victoria and Cindy for helping coordinate and guide me through this life changing process! Updated on 29 Oct 2020: My breasts post op(15 days) my left breast(right in photo) is a bit larger than the other. It may be the swelling. Dr.Babbitt told me if the left breast still appears larger that I can go in for a removal of about 220cc to make them more symmetrical. I might even ask the possibility of him matching the size to the smaller(I wouldn’t know how that would work though) I am overall very pleased, little to no pain and I did not have to take any pain medication.
Dr. Babbitt takes his time explaining everything to you. He won't do things the he feels are risky, so right then I also knew he was trustworthy and he was a patients first, money second doctor. Not only is he. bright and kind and knowledgeable. He is an absolute artist. I had a breast lift and tummy tuck. My breast were a bit of a challenge and instead of him just wanting to throw implants in because that would be easiest and what other doctors suggested. He took the time to really listen to what I wanted and they came out amazing. I couldn't be more please how my tummy tuck and lift came out. He is a true artist. I highly recommend.
Age is not everything, and the answer to this question will be dependent on your overall health. Assuming diabetes is your only medical condition, you could proceed with surgery assuming it is well controlled. I generally require an A1c below 7 to proceed with any surgery, BMI less than 35, and for the overall health of my patients to be appropriate for surgery. Discuss your medical history thoroughly with your doctor and make sure you are seeing a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
Hi, and sorry to hear you have been dealing with this chronic problem. It is possible for a seroma to become a long standing problem, as once it forms a smooth pocket it will not resolve with compression. It is possible for the area to bleed if the capsule around the seroma is torn, which may be what you just recently experienced. The best course of action would be to see your surgeon, and discuss surgical intervention. Best of luck!
Hello and thanks for your question. In my opinion, you could avoid a tummy tuck and go for a less invasive option like liposuction with Renuvion, which would tighten the skin. It is an ideal procedure for someone like you who doesn't have overhanging skin or diastasis. Make sure your consults are with a board certified plastic surgeon, best of luck!
Based on these photos, a tummy tuck would achieve a flatter result and would be what I recommend. Liposuction would need to be combined with something like Renuvion to help tighten your skin, but based on the side view, you may still have some skin laxity in that area, which is why a tummy tuck would give a better result. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, and best of luck!
Hello! So the first part in answering your question is determining how far out from liposuction you are. Swelling and skin contraction can take time, and I usually recommend waiting 6 months to fully evaluate the result. If after that amount of time, you still have laxity, your options would be a tummy tuck vs something that will help skin contract. I use Renuvion, which uses helium plasma to tighten the skin. It is surgical, but uses minimal scarring and has less downtime than a tummy tuck. So, give your result time, and then discuss with your surgeon to see what they can offer. Best of luck!
