Hello! I had braces five years ago and four teeth extracted. When they came off I was devastated by the results. I have straight teeth but my smile shrunk, my lips shrunk, and I have a very flat appearance. My lips are very thin now and the upper seems to almost turn in. I'm not really into the ideal of injections because of how I've read things like Juvaderm are made. I would prefer suggestions for a long term solution if there are any ideas. Thank you so much for your insight.

Thank you for your question. It would be helpful to know when you sustained the injury. Please keep monitoring it and consider consulting with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to improve and correct any aesthetic challenges.
Best wishes,
Thank you for your question. It is not common to have swelling 3 months after lip injections. This could be an infection and your filler may need to be dissolved with hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for an evaluation and treatment. Best of Luck!
Hi and thank you for your question! Icing particularly after the filler injection can help with reducing the swelling and it is a common practice at many clinics. I hope it helps and good luck!
