Lip Augmentation uneven after 3 Months, what can I do? (photos)

Thank you for your question. I suggest that you return to your injector and board certified facial plastic surgeon because post-op swelling would not continue up to and through three months after the procedure.

Hi and thank you for your question! Swelling right after lip injection is quite uncommon but for swelling occurring 3 months later, there should be some reasons other than post-injection swelling. It could be related or totally unrelated to the injection, so I highly recommend that you do a follow up with your doctor to make sure there is no other issue in need of attention. I wouldn't recommend more filler injections until you figured out what is the cause for swelling. I hope it helps and good luck!

Thank you for your question. It is not common to have swelling 3 months after lip injections. This could be an infection and your filler may need to be dissolved with hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for an evaluation and treatment. Best of Luck!

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs.  Swelling 3 months after treatment is uncommon.  The first thing that must be done is to identify the source of the swelling during an in-person consultation.  One possible source is infection.  It is never a good idea to receive injections (filler or hyaluronidase) while swelling is present.  Please be sure to see an expert injector as soon as possible for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your concerns and to determine the best treatment plan.  Hope this helps and best wishes!

Thank you so much for the question. I have to honestly mention that the amount of asymmetry on your lips are very minimal.
However I am more concerned about the fact that you said you do have pain. If you are experiencing pain without touching the lips and if the pain is moderate  to severe I will definitely see the doctor. If not and if the asymmetry is the only issue, as minimal as it is if you want to make it more equal I do agree with what your doctor said, that he or she can add more filler to one side to equal it out.
