Is it okay to have another lip filler session a week after the first one or is it too soon? And if it is too soon how long should I wait until the next one? Thank you all for your answers much appreciated!
Answer: Lip Lift Thank you for your question. The timeline between injections depends on the patient, their treatment plan and their recovery process. I suggest that you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about the tailor-made approach you develop together to achieve your aesthetic goals. Best wishes,

Answer: Evaluating filler results after one week? It's always best to start conservatively, so one syringe injected into your lips at your first visit was very appropriate. Over the years, I've found that many patients become disappointed as the initial swelling after lip injections starts to resolve, especially in younger patients who really want the very full, pouty look that is of the moment with the Jenner/Hadid squad and the recent focus on lip cosmetics. I always recommend a follow-up visit at 2 weeks to take pictures and compare the before/after result when all of the swelling is resolved. After reviewing photos with your physician, adding a second syringe is a great option if you loved how they looked when they were swollen. I do advise patients that to maintain the very full, freshly injected look, they will typically need to plan on returning for repeat injections at 6 month intervals.

Answer: Another Lip Injection One Week Later Hi and thank you for your question! I recommend all my patients to wait for 2 weeks following any filler injections before doing more filler in or around the area of the initial injection, since there might still be some residual swelling left, making any assessment and further treatment difficult. I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: Second treatment I recommend that you go for a follow up with your injector or if traveling or away visit another board certified physician and expert that can give you his professional opinion. Follow up or new evaluation is necessary beforehand for proper recommendations to make sure you are not doing too much too soon before properly healing. Best and thank you for your question,

Answer: Is It Okay To Have Another Lip Filler Session A Week After The First One Or Is It Too Soon? Thank you for your excellent question. Swelling is normal after treatment with fillers, especially when the lips are injected. Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling to fully resolve and to see your final result. For this reason, two weeks is a good time to reassess and add more product, if necessary, to achieve your desired result. Hope this helps and best wishes!
