A month away from my appointment for Sciton Microlaser peel. I am starting to have questions about how affective the treatment will be. I have always had horrible skin. I've done a dozen microdermabrasion treatments, 1 deep peel and 3 microneedling treatments, but see almost no difference. I'm not looking for perfect skin just better skin. Would a laser micro peel help with my acne scarring, wrinkles and pores? How close to my under eye can it get? How many microns deep would show best results?

Answer: Sciton laser under eyes The Sciton laser can be used to treat the whole upper and lower lid. This typically requires using corneal shields (special protective contacts). This laser is amazing for eyelids. Good luck!

Answer: Laser treatment in the eye area Thanks for your question. Everyone will have different results from laser procedures, so I would not expect miracles, but a micropeel can help with fine lines, texture, pore size and give you a general glow. If your dermatologist is treating the eyelids themselves, you will need eye shields that are inserted like large contacts after putting numbing drops in the eyes, but if you are wearing small external eye shields, it would be ok to pull the lower eyelid skin down a little and treat just along the orbital bone, but not anywhere near the actual eyeball or lid that covers the eyes. I hope you have a wonderful outcome!
