I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. This can be improved with lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I an sorry that you are having this problem and it is very frustrating to have a less than expected result. It is difficult to see your result very well from your photos but the hypo-pigmentation can be seen. It would be great to see better photos and your pretreatment photos as well. I completely agree with Dr. Gelber's response. Profractional under eyes with Latisse is definitely worth trying and lasering the remainder of your face to even out your skin. Your overall result looks more uneven because of only having the under-eye area treated.

First off, I'm sorry that you've been going through this. I absolutely refuse to treat only part of the face in my practice as you can end up with uneven results with parts of the face not matching.Hypopigmentation after any sort of laser is difficult to deal with and especially anything on the eyelids closer to the lash line than the bone that you can feel under the eye (edge of your eye socket). BBL can't be used closer than that and although it could help reduce pigment on the rest of your face, it won't help hypopigmentation.As scary as it is to consider lasers after what you've been through, there is research experience in veterans and burn victims with hypopigmented scars using ProFractional (not CO2, Fraxel, Halo or other fractional technologies which leave a plug or coat of coagulated/dead tissue in the column) and then painting the area with Latisse, which can recruit new pigment stem cells to the area. No laser/microneedling treatment will help unless pigment stem cells return.
