Skin is a 2 on the Fitzpatrick scale according to my dermatologist. Probably have over 30 individual sebacious hyperplasias. 47 year old. I considered having the hyfecator treatment but it just seemed like greater chance of scarring given the number of bumps. The thought here is to get the majority of them with the laser, then come back with the hyfecator for the bad ones.

Answer: NanoLaserPeel for Sebaceous Hyperplasia Unfortunately, a nanolaserpeel only removes a superficial part of the stratum corneum - the outer layer of dead skin and will not remove your SH. At the same time as the laser is performed, your derm could use the single spot on his laser to flatten the SH for better results, though.

Answer: Hyfractor vs lasers for seb. hyperplasia Depends on the skill of your dermatologist. I work with over 30 lasers, including ablative lasers and nano lasers, however a simple pin point hyfrector at a 1.2-1.4 watt setting to each petal will be super effective without the expense of a laser. Each dermatologist is different, and will have their own favoured METHOD for treatment. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane.
