Can Spectra laser peels be spaced out 1 week apart?

It will depend on healing, which can vary. I also recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care recommendations. After a laser peel, I recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Having the first spectra in the country I have a lot of experience with the system. I recommend 2 weeks in between for Acne, pores, general rejuvenationIf I am dealing with melanoma, pigments as such then I have a weekly treatment for 7-10 weeks.If i am dealing with " sun spots" I tend to wait almost a month in between sessions because some lentigines take up to 3 weeks to resolve.

In my office we use the spectra to treat melasma and/or hyperpigmentation.  Our protocol is one treatment a week for 10 treatments--basically you have to do a low energy treatment, often, so you don't cause rebound hyperpigmentation.  We also use it for pore reduction and this protocol is once a month--but the setting is higher.
So, the answer to your question is, once a week is totally fine if you are treating pigment issues.
