Can a c-shaped deformity be corrected via revision rhinoplasty?

I had a rhinoplasty and I have a c shaped nose now with missing cartilage/bone on one side. Can this be corrected with a revision?

The short answer is yes, corrections can be made with a revision. The the deformity is small, silicone injections can oftentimes help. If it's bigger, cartilage grafting may be required to restructure the nose. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

A full set of facial photographs from all angles are required to proceed, since revision rhinoplasty is the most difficult operation to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery. To straighten the crooked nose requires osteotomies placed in the nasal bones. On the concave side, frequently we perform a spreader graft to bolster that side. Asymmetric nasal tip cartilages can be addressed when needed. It's very important to know how much is just leftover on the inside the nose for grafting purposes, so it be important to obtain the previous operative report from your first surgeon.
