I got my breast augmentation August 2022. I’m a 22 year old female, 5 feet tall, and around 100 pounds. My size prior to surgery was 30/32 A. I was going for around a C/D cup so I had chosen 350 CCs. Day of surgery my surgeon suggested doing 415 CCs instead, I didn’t have a chance to try them on so I just went with it. They are way too big. they sit unnaturally on my frame. Not sure if it’s possible to fix without surgery? They are wider than my chest so they hang over the side. suggestions?
Answer: Implant size I have seen issues like this when the surgeon puts in a different size than agreed upon. However you were informed prior to surgery about this and agreed. And the difference in size not substantial. The difference in diameter is less than 1 cm. I would not rush into any revisionary surgery.

Answer: Implants are too large Sorry to hear about your implant experience. Revising a breast augmentation is something that happens. I think we all try, very hard, to make it a rare occurrence. But it does happen. Decreasing implant size is usually a straightforward procedure. Recovery is usually less than the original procedure. There can be exceptions to that, but they are also uncommon. An in person evaluation would be the only way to find out. Consider seeing a couple of surgeons (Board Certified Plastic Surgeons) with experience in these cases before deciding anything.

Answer: High implants Dear Philosophical425034, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: What can I do about implants that are too big for my frame? November 17, 2023 Asked By: Philosophical425034 Unfortunately only way to reduce sizes surgery. Since you are looking to go down a small size, you should not rush into it and let every thing settle down. There is a chance the current size implant might feel reasonable on your frame in few more months. If not you can go smaller where you will need to reduce the pocket laterally and get new implants.

Answer: Implants that are too big for my frame Unfortunately, there is no way to achieve you goals without surgery. To reduce your volume, you could replace your implants with smaller prostheses. Smaller implant will also reduce the width and the width can be further reduced by changing the profile. Going from your current 415cc implants to 350cc may be inadequate for your goals. A 65cc reduction is only a change of 2.2 ounces. Discuss your concerns and options with your surgeon.

Answer: Surgery Thanks for your question! Unfortunately, the only solution to make your breasts smaller is to put in a smaller implant. I would suggest talking to your surgeon to see if he/she can work with you to make that happen. Good luck!
