I’m currently 5.5 months post op I got 470cc in left breast and 445cc in my right . Previously a 34a/34b bra and currently a 34d. My concern is that my implants are still slightly firm and don’t push together easily to make cleavage. I also don’t have any upper fullness. Will this get better in time as they drop more? This is as big as I was allowed to go. Would I need bigger implants to achieve upper fullness and cleavage or do they bend to drop more? High profile silicone round
Answer: BA results Dear 111.222, dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. Answer: Breast augmentation Gravity will have some effect over time on your implants. Wearing good support is the best means of avoiding bottoming out. Your implants appear to be in good position. Adding an implant won't lead to a fluffing effect on your breasts where the breast increase in size.

Answer: Implants are in good position. Great result. Won't change much Thank you for your question. You have a very nice result and it will not change much. The implants are not riding high. The limit to how far toward the middle the implant can sit has more to do with your anatomy and the attachment of the muscle to the sternum. These attachments have to remain in place or you'll end up with uniboob (symmastia). The bra is what creates cleavage in the majority of women. It is a bit of a paradox, but HP implants often have less upper pole fullness than some of the lower profiles, because the implant is shorter and has a more abrupt takeoff. The size of your implant seems appropriate with regard to the dimension b/c any larger would mean wider and you would be left with more side boob rather than having volume where you wanted it. A larger implant will also be heavier which will further stress you natural breast envelope and increase your risk of malposition and asymmetry. These things increase the risk of revisions in the future. Hope this helps

Answer: Breast augmentation results At five and half months post op you are close to your final result. The space between the breasts is determined by the width of your breast bone. There are tricks to help make the breasts appear closer, but ultimately it is largely impacted by your anatomy. I encourage you to visit with your surgeon to discuss your concerns.

Answer: Breast aug recovery Thanks for submitting your questions and photos! I’m sorry to hear that you’re not quite satisfied with your results. At 5.5 months out, you may notice a small amount of settling over the next few months, but it won’t be significant enough to provide more upper pole fullness or cleavage. Based on the info and photos submitted, you may be a good candidate for an implant exchange. In order to achieve more upper pole fullness and cleavage, you may need to increase the size of your implants, as well as the width and height. There are implant manufacturers that make extra high profile which may be a good option for you. I highly recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to go over all of your options and create a custom surgical plan that will get you the look you want. Good luck in your recovery and thanks again for reaching out!
