I have hooded eyelids which I sometimes mask w eyelid tape and bags underneath my eyes. Thank goodness for Plexaderm. I don’t like my nose when I smile because the tip is too wide. I can decide if I should get a blepharoplasty or rhinoplasty first. Which would make the most difference for me? I just want to look pretty and as young as possible. I am 48
Answer: Rhinoplasty versus Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty Your concern about the rhinoplasty is primarily related to the width of the nasal tip. It’s important to consider that vision and perception seem to use comparison. When the nose is smaller, it can create an optical effect where the eyes appear larger or more noticeable. Therefore, even if rhinoplasty is your first intervention, there can be a secondary effect on the appearance of your eyes. To make an informed decision, you might consider exploring how these changes would look on your face through a computer simulation. Many aesthetic practices offer this service, allowing you to visualize the potential outcomes of making your nose smaller and how it may affect the overall harmony of your facial features, including your eyes. Ultimately, the choice between lower eyelid blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty should be based on your primary concerns and aesthetic goals. Consulting with a qualified surgeon can provide you with a clearer understanding of what each procedure entails and how they can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Answer: I Recommend Rhinoplasty First, then Blepharoplasty | Plastic Surgery Nosejob Expert | Bulbous Tip | Eyelids | LA Beverly Hills Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. I would recommend undergoing the rhinoplasty first, since your nose is the most central and immediately noticeable facial feature. Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (particularly the tip)! I'd be able to give you a nose that naturally fits your face, and doesn't appear obvious or "done"! This truly is a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I also trained under a world-renowned master of complex facial aesthetics, so when you're ready to discuss the eyelids, or any other facial rejuvenation / balancing procedures, I'll be happy and ready to go into all the details and different options with you! We could actually do both surgeries pretty close together to cluster the overall recovery time if you'd like. I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties and facial rejuvenation procedures) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: If you have dissatisfaction with your nasal appearance, please consider visiting a rhinoplasty specialist. Based on your photos, you appear to have a wide nasal appearance on front view. If this is causing you aggravation, a rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a less distracting nasal appearance. You should do the procedure that would give you the most pleasure. Perhaps consider visiting several reputable facial plastic surgeons for a consultation. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Both You can safely do both procedures at the same time. The time for an upper lid blepharoplasty is about 30 minutes and for a rhinoplasty is 3 hours. So done together would be safe inside recommended time limits.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you can have two operations at the same time, I recommend upper and lower eye blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty operation, we can make a more accurate evaluation if you can send a 95 degree angle photo from the side profile. It would be better face to face consultation. Best Regards!
