Over treated with laser. What are my options?

Hi, I did a laser treatment with total FX laser 15 mounts ago. My skin is still a little bit pink and with brown spots. I had another plastic surgeon look at it and he told me that he had probably used too high frequency. Is it possible that my skin never go back to normal? Can my skin get older faster like sun damage skin? I want to do a fat transfer to cheeks, but wonder if that can stop/ disturb the healing of the skin?

Sorry you are having these issues and hopefully your skin pigment will continue to improve with time. However facial fat transfer is still an option for you and will not affect your skin tone. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to greatly increase chances for the safest and best possible result. Good luck.

Hi Thank you for your question. Skin discolouration or pigmentation may result after laser.The skin may go back to normal with time you can also try 2-3 treatments of Microneedeling(dermapen)which can help rejuvenate the skin in the area and decrease the pigmentation. Fat transfer to the cheeks will not affect or disturb the healing process of the skin, it may even improve it and improve also the quality of skin in the area.Best RegardsDr Layth Gurgia
