You have a small dorsal hump and slight angulation of the nose. This can be corrected with a rhinoplasty.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Addressing some asymmetry to your nose (especially if you have a history of nasal trauma) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to address your old injury, improve your breathing, make your nose straighter and more symmetric, and adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose! This truly a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps!Dr. Donald GrovesAesthetic Plastic Surgeon
Based on your photos, you appear to have an indentation along the left side wall of your nose. Depending on your examination, micro droplet Silikon 1000 may be considered for filling in the left side wall of your nose for a straighter nasal appearance. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you are a suitable candidate for rhinoplasty for get rid of this image I recommend you rhinoplasty surgery. It would be better face to face consultation.Best Regards!
It can be challenging to achieve an exact match to a childhood photo, as the nose can undergo changes due to various factors, including microtraumas. Consulting with a skilled facial plastic surgeon can provide insights into straightening your nose. However, it's important to remain open to the possibility that your nose may continue to change with age.
Assuming you're otherwise in good health, it's usually possible to get the nose much straighter (though rarely perfectly straight) even when it's been a long time since the injury. Sometimes this can be done with injectable fillers at the expense of a slightly wider nose, but more can be done through a surgical rhinoplasty. I prefer the open approach since it gives greater control of other aspects of the nose. Also, make sure whoever examines you also carefully examines the inside of the nose for any deviation of your septum, which can affect how the nose is treated. All the best,--David C. Pearson, M.D.
In short, yes you can always undergo surgery to straighten the nose. I do tell my patients to have realistic expectations, however - esp if this is a longtime childhood injury, your cartilage may have memory and want to warp back to some degree so you may never get it 100% straight. Also I tell all my patients that we can never make you "how you were before" a trauma but only close.
Hi , rhinoplasty usually be combined with a septoplasty to address both function and appearance of the nose. It is better for you to consult with a facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and discuss the surgical procedure and the post op recovery process.
I think your nose would look better if smaller and narrower. It could be straightened a little but it probably won’t be perfectly straight
Yes, it is possible to improve both the esthetic and functional aspects of your nose with septorhinoplasty. In person consultation with a plastic surgeon with expertise in nose surgery is recommended. Good luck.
Unfortunately, the only method of elevating a droopy tip would be with Revision rhinoplasty surgery. Since you are two years after rhinoplasty surgery, I suspect that steroid injections might not be helpful, and could lead to visible irregularities. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
For most people it takes around 12 months to see the final outcome of their surgery. However, it is advisable to wait for at least 18 months between rhinoplasty procedures. This is because the scar tissue which forms as part of the surgery can take up to 18 months to fully mature. Until the scar...
In our practice, the majority of our patients are women, and we have never had an issue with somebody getting a blowout before surgery. Frankly, there would be no risk of fire. In so far as formaldehyde, one would think that the majority of it would come out in the wash. I hope this helps....
