Wondering if it would be possible to re-straighten my nose to its original form or at least close to it.
Answer: Crooked nose If the only thing that you wanna do is make your nose appear more straight, you would benefit greatly from a septoplasty. This procedure takes approximately one hour and will straighten the internal division between your left and right nostril. Additionally, you may need to have the bones on the proximal portion of the nose repositioned, this could be done at the same time as the septoplasty. Total recovery time is approximately 10 to 14 days. Good luck!

Answer: Would you consider a permanent nonsurgical nose job? Based on your photos, you appear to have an indentation along the left side wall of your nose. Depending on your examination, micro droplet Silikon 1000 may be considered for filling in the left side wall of your nose for a straighter nasal appearance. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Childhood nose It can be challenging to achieve an exact match to a childhood photo, as the nose can undergo changes due to various factors, including microtraumas. Consulting with a skilled facial plastic surgeon can provide insights into straightening your nose. However, it's important to remain open to the possibility that your nose may continue to change with age.

Answer: Straightening nose after childhood trauma Assuming you're otherwise in good health, it's usually possible to get the nose much straighter (though rarely perfectly straight) even when it's been a long time since the injury. Sometimes this can be done with injectable fillers at the expense of a slightly wider nose, but more can be done through a surgical rhinoplasty. I prefer the open approach since it gives greater control of other aspects of the nose. Also, make sure whoever examines you also carefully examines the inside of the nose for any deviation of your septum, which can affect how the nose is treated. All the best, --David C. Pearson, M.D.
