It’s been almost two years since I’ve my sinoplasty/rhinoplasty. I still have a very bulbous tip/drooping collumela that still swells occasionally. I have thick skin but was never told to tape. I’ve already gone through one round of steroid injections that gave me some temporary results. I’m now seeing some bumps on my tip which I am concerned might be scar tissue. Is there anything I can do now short of revision?

In our practice, the majority of our patients are women, and we have never had an issue with somebody getting a blowout before surgery. Frankly, there would be no risk of fire. In so far as formaldehyde, one would think that the majority of it would come out in the wash. I hope this helps....
Hey sept us the extension graft is a piece of cartilage that is attached to the bottom of your nasal septum. That serves to lower the columella and lead to a longer nasal appearance. In that regard, please try to find a reputable specialist who offers this technique. I hope this is helpful....
