It is unlikely that massage will eliminate this bump.  You more than likely will need a bit of rasping in this area to remove the bump.  It can be done in the office setting under local.  

If you have soft callous formation or subperiosteal heme, massage can help.  Your surgeon can give you a steroid shot to potentially help with this. It may not go away, but it could become invisible in repose.
