I have been dieting for 10 months now and I've lost 45 lbs. I am otherwise healthy. No bp or cholesterol issues. I've had 2 children, one delivered via c-section. I'm never going to be "skinny", that is not my goal. I just truly hate my bat wings and my belly. They are an unsightly nuisance.
Answer: Candidate for arm lift and tummy tuck Thank you for your question. With age and/or weight changes, the upper arms and abdomen can hold a lot of excess fatty tissue and develop skin laxity. An arm lift procedure helps to contour the upper arms by reducing excess skin and fat. The incisions can be hidden in the armpit for those with a moderate degree of laxity or along the vertical length of the upper and inner arm for those with more skin excess. You would be a great candidate for a traditional arm lift.Similarly, you would be a great candidate for a traditional tummy tuck to remove the excess skin and fat in the lower abdomen and tighten the underlying muscles. The results are extremely satisfying. I would recommend that you visit with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss your options in more detail.

Answer: You are likely a candidate for an arm lift and tummy tuck. Congratulations on your hard-won weight loss! Your commitment to a healthy lifestyle has certainly paid off, and judging by your photos you may be a candidate for an arm lift and tummy tuck. A tummy tuck can remove the significant excess skin you’re currently carrying around the waistline, smooth your abdomen and tighten any weak abdominal muscles, while an arm lift can improve the appearance of "bat wings" after weight loss. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in post weight loss procedures, and he or she can advise you on the best way to proceed. Ideal tummy tuck candidates should be able to maintain a stable weight prior to and following the procedure in order to see the best results.

Answer: Arm Lift and Tummy Tuck From the photos that you posted, I would recommend an Arm Lift and a Tummy Tuck. The extra skin on the whole lower abdominal area would be removed and therefore you would loose the protruding area considerably. I would also perform Liposuction six months after the Tummy Tuck to provide additional flatness on the central abdominal area.

Answer: Arm lift arm reduction arm liposuction abdominoplasty multiple procedures recovery time tummy tuck Congratulations on your massive weight loss. You should be very proud of yourself!Based on your history, pictures and not a thorough physical examination, I think you would be a very good candidate for combined arm lift ( brachioplasty ) and tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) procedures.During an arm lift or brachioplasty, excess arm fat is removed with liposuction. In addition, at the same time, excess arm skin and redundant fat is also surgically removed. Your resulting arm scar would extend from the armpit to the elbow. Your arm circumference should be reduced by 30 to 40%.During your abdominoplasty, an incision is made on your lower abdomen. Your abdominal muscles are tightened. The excess skin and fat for the pubic region to at least the top of the belly button is removed. The end result is a nice flat stomach. The arm lift or brachioplasty takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. The abdominoplasty or tummy tuck takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. If the procedures are combined, the procedure could take between six and eight hours. This depends on the amount of excess skin and fat that needs to be removed and the speed of your surgical team. Both procedures are performed under general anesthesia. If you plan to do both procedures at the same time, I would consider taking 2 to 3 weeks off from work. After your armlift surgery is important that you wear your arm compression garments for at least 6 to 8 weeks. After your abdominoplasty, it is important that you wear your abdominal compression garment for at least six weeks.I hope this answers your question regarding combined arm lift (brachioplasty) and tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) procedures.
