Yes, I think that an injectable filler could improve the indentation in your forehead. Fillers can also be used in the temples, if needed. There are a variety of fillers that could be used, so be sure to discuss the options with the physician treating you.
Thank you for your question and pictures.Yes fillers are great products to fill in the mid-forehead depression and is a much easier alternative to fat grafting (poor survival rate in forehead) and custom-made forehead implant (I do all 3 procedures in my practice). The filler must be inserted over the bone and the CANNULA technique is mandatory for optimal safety. Using needle injection technique there has a high risk of injecting inadvertently in the blood vessels and causing serious soft tissue damage. Cannula (I use 25g) is much much safer.Get an experienced plastic surgeon to do this.Hope this helps and thanks again for raising this great application of fillers here on realself!Kind regards, Dr. Marc DuPéré, aesthetic plastic surgeon
Thank you for your question and photos. Yes, I think you would benefit from dermal filler treatment in the upper face to help with areas of shadowing/hollowness. There are a few different types of filler that can be used in these areas, and I would recommend a consultation with an experienced injector for full evaluation to decide the type and amount of filler that would best suit your needs. Hope this helps!
Yes, a combination of Botox or Dysport and fillers should smooth the appearance of your forehead. Filler will correct any hollowing from volume loss while Botox/Dysport will relax dynamic lines and wrinkles cause by muscle hyperactivity.
Thank you for your question and pictures. Yes, dermal fillers are often used at the forehead to fill up any depression or dip and making the forehead more convex. I prefer using a cannula technique as it is much safer. Temples can also be filled with dermal fillers and will make the area less hollow. Please see an expert. All the best, Dr Michon
Xyzal is an antihistamine and should have no interaction with filler injections, so it would be fine for you to have the filler whenever you want.
Hi @Jeelsie9. I recommend an in-person consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals and the best treatment options tailored to your face. Best of luck, Dr. Nima
It is difficult to answer completely without pictures. However, since it has been 3 months and based on your description, it is unlikely that you negatively impacted your results. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. Keep in mind, if it is an HA filler you can r...
Collagen inducing therapies do take time to notice a difference; adding quality skin care at home and daily sun protection help to maintain your skin health. Fillers are a great option for texture and skin health - the biostimulatory fillers, such as Sculptra, Bellafill, and Radiesse - give the...
Hi, as long as it is a hyaluronic acid filler, you can dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase. There is an art to doing this. You can dilute the enzyme and/or use a very fine needle and precisely dissolve the areas where you have too much filler. If it is not done carefully, there is a risk that...
