LAST YEAR I HAD HALF SYRINGE OF LYFT IN EACH CHEECK. IT DID A GREAT JOB OF LIFTING MY JOWLS. THIS YEAR I WENT TO A DIFFERENT DOCTOR AND HAD THE SAME AMOUNT OF VOLUMA AND I HAVE ZERO IMPROVEMENT WITH MY JOWLS. THE DOCTOR ONLY INJECTED VOLUMA IN THE MIDDLE OF MY CHEECK. IM GOING TO NEED TO HAVE MORE INJECTED ON MY CHEECK BONE. I HAVE NO STRUCTURE OR VOLUME IN MY UPPER CHEEKS SHOULD I GET LYFT WHEN I ADD MORE OR AM I NOT GETTING ANY LIFT W VOLUMA BECAUSE OF THE WAY IT WAS INJECTED?
Answer: Restylane Lift may lift better than Voluma for cheeks. I like Restylane lift better for cheek lifting than voluma but you usually need at least 1 full syringe of either for each cheek to make a difference. Some patients need 2 syringes on each cheek to make a difference but 1/2 syringe does nothing for lifting each cheek as a rule.

Answer: Restylane Lyft vs Voluma Thank you for your question. Both fillers are hyaluronic acids with significant lifting capabilities. Physicians select the products they use based on experience and personal observation.Treating the aging face requires insight and artistry. The "ideal" facial aesthetic means different things to different providers. You need to understand your physicians aesthetic and agree with it before undergoing treatment. We also can not rule out changes to your face which may have occurred in the year since your last treatment.I would encourage you to speak with your provider and express your concerns. Good luck and I hope this was helpful.

Answer: Anti-Aging Treatment / Lifting Jowls -- Combination of Fillers, Sculptra, Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, FaceTite -- see an expert Hi Lynn, as others here have mentioned, obtaining your desired results is less about the brand of filler and more about artistry and technique. Without a photograph, it's difficult to determine which treatment would give you the results you're looking for. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist to discuss your aesthetic goals and develop a treatment plan that works for you.If fillers ultimately do not give you the lift you're looking for, I would suggest considering a combination approach: Ultherapy for skin tightening, thread lifting, Sculptra to build collagen, and InMode FaceTite to internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we can shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will always give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Restylane Lyft vs. Voluma For Jowls and Cheeks If you were happy with your first injector why would you switch to another one? Both Restylane Lyft and Voluma work well to volumize the jowls and cheeks when used properly. It is more about the skill and ability of the injecting physician than the product used. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician. Best wishes.

Answer: Voluma vs Lyft Thank you so much for asking this question. The filler manufacturers have made their products into such a commodity that patients think the product is doing all the work. If you hire artist to paint a portrait, would you focus on the brand of paint he/she uses or the skill of the artist? Apparently, the first injector did a great job and would probably be able to do the same with either product. Find the best doctor first, then decide together on the product based on qualities like longevity. For example, most HA fillers will last 6months to 2 years depending on the product, whereas a fat transfer or a collagen stimulating product like Bellafill® can last 5 years or more. When you are using longer lasting products, it is even more crucial that you choose the most highly skilled injector to do the job. My recommendation is to go back to the first injector since you were happy with the results even if you have to pay a little bit more, you are worth it!
