Can this be a side effect from Sculptra? I'm so depressed. (Photos)

Question

I had two injections 6 weeks apart. After the second session I noticed that my skin texture appeared to be limpier and I definitely think I see a nodule or two. Is it going to get better? Worse? Help

Nodularity after Sculptra injections may occur for a number of reasons including how well the Sculptra was reconstituted in advance of treatment.  Since, Sculptra achieves it's results through an inflammatory response, some nodules may represent inflammatory nodules.  In rare cases, persistent nodularity may represent biofilms or bacterial contamination.  I am under the impression that your Sculptra treatments were relatively recent and therefore biofilms/bacteria are unlikely.
Most cases of nodularity tend to even out with time and diligent massage.  Ulthera (HIFU) may be a useful adjunct in resolving small irregularities.  A course of anti-biotic such as Clindamycin may clear up the problem.
I would resist the temptation to undergo treatments with steroids whether local or systemic.
Ultimately, it's best to have a careful discussion with your injector or seek a second opinion with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.  I wish you the best of luck in finding satisfactory resolution.

 These could be Sculptra nodules. 
They may disappear on their own, however you should go back and show your injector the results. They may need to be dissolved with saline and or 5FU.
Sometimes steroid injections are needed.

Are the lumps in my skin from Sculptra? It is possible that these are but it would really depend at what depth the Sculptra was injected. Normally, the Sculptra is injected much deeper than the dermis in this area and then it would be highly unlikely that these were related. If they are from Sculptra, I would consider using 5FU and Kenalog to shrink them and reduce the inflammation. Do you have an autoimmune related disease. If so, these nodules are more often seen in those condition.
