Trying to weigh pros and cons of BBL v. Sculptra injections. How much does is cost on average and how long does it last? Any risks?
Answer: Is Sculptra a Safe Injectable for the Buttocks? Sculptra Is Safe for Buttocks and Mini BBL Sculptra can do a beautiful job of creating a smoother, rounder and more lifted buttocks area. While the difference in shape and beauty can be substantial, the amount of volume you would want to add in the buttocks with Sculptra is limited. If you desire a dramatic change in volume, a traditional BBL would be the answer. If you want something youthful and rounded and natural looking, then I'd recommend Sculptra. It is very safe in the buttocks if it is diluted properly and injected smoothly. It is an advanced technique that could be lumpy with improper placement. Sculptra works by stimulating your body to produce the collagen that ultimately leads to its aesthetically pleasing results. The Sculptra microparticles dissolve as they are replaced by your body's new collagen. Results can last up to two years. Please find a board-certified dermatologist who is expert at contouring the buttocks with Sculptra to help you.

Answer: Shaping the butt with Sculptra--See an expert for a formal evaluation Yes, Sculptra is safe to be used to smooth out and shape the butt. This area needs numerous vials over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. Cost will vary, but I recommend seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Sculptra versus BBL Sculptra is FDA cleared for volume enhancement of the face but has been used off label for a number of other indications including buttocks augmentation. I generally prefer the BBL over Sculptra because most patients need the sculpting of the flanks and shaping of the buttocks to get an impressive result. That being said, there are many patients who do not have fat reserves that can be harvested to perform the BBL or patients who simply do not want the downtime associated with a BBL. Typical volumes for the Sculptra BBL are 20-40 vials injected over a series of 2 or 3 sessions. There is no downtime following the procedure. Cost can range from $7500 to $40,000 depending on the number of vials injected and locale where the procedure is performed. I suggest seeking consultation with a body sculpting expert to determine what your best option is - Dr. Moore.

Answer: Sculptra for Buttock Enhancement Hello and thank you for posting. Sculptra has been approved for over a decade now and has a proven safety profile for facial injections. It has also been used off label as a means to treat cellulite and also for buttock enhancement. The major challenge with using Sculptra for buttock enhancement is that it takes a lot of product, it’s expensive, and the overall results are modest. We have been using between 15 and 40 vials per patient to achieve conservative, but meaningful results. We have not seen any significant adverse effects in our patients. The costs range between $7500 to $20,000 and this of course depends on how many vials are needed. The results should last for 2 to 3 years based on the results that one sees with Sculptra for facial volume reflation. I hope this information helps and good luck.

Answer: Sculptra Butt Lift Sculptra is a safe alternative for creating volume in the buttocks. Its been used in the face for over 10 years and has a proven safety record. Typically, at least 20 vials are needed to see an effect with reports of some people getting up to 40. Total cost will be 10-15K in most cases. It is not to be used for creating extremely large enhancements but only for modest ones. I perform these in my office with cannulas and no anesthesia and they are tolerated very well. It takes 15-20 and do them in a series of about 2-3. See the video.
