I have 13 yr old pitted chickenpox scar in middle of my forehead, I want to do Restylane or Juvederm filler asap but scared of an occlusion because of the area I need it in. Is filler just in one circular spot in the middle of forehead at high risk to cause occlusion or is it more so when large areas are done with filler? forehead skin isn't too tight. Injector is NP-PHC, MPH, BSCN certified & has multiple filler clinics, is that enough to tackle a deep scar like this and with those fillers?

Answer: Filler to forhead Hi there, have you considered Factora treatment for the scar. It is not guaranteed that filler will lift this scar because there are changes to the quality of the skin in that region. Also, bellafill is a good option for filling scars.

Answer: Forehead filler The area on the forehead is high risk even in its own right. Let alone with Scars and the abberant vessels they can form. With regard to the certification personally I don’t think your provider is qualified to do such a high risk procedure. Look for only board-certified physicians in one of the core aesthetic specialties such a Dermatology and Plastic Surgery This certification that your nurse got was probably only a weekend course. This area is very complex and quite varied among individuals. The person injecting really needs to know the anatomy. This area of medicine it’s just so poorly regulated and anybody can claim to be an expert Good luck and all the best
