Too much taken off/ reconstructive rhinoplasty? (photos)

Its really about what you think looks good for you.  Its always easy to say leave it alone or you are being to critical, but rhinoplasty is an identity operation and you must feel comfortable with your result. I would encourage you to discuss with your surgeon and get their opinion or see some other surgeons just for confirmation.  

I think from the views you posted, your surgeon hit a home run for you. Be careful what you wish for, it may make it worse if you go for another revision.

More pictures would be needed to fully evaluate your results.  However, based on your side profile, you appear to have a great result!  Your dorsal hump has been removed and your tip is no longer droopy.  I would not recommend revision surgery based on your submitted photos.

Thank you for your clinical post and photographs. From a clinical history and pre-operative and
post-operative photograph submitted the reduction rhinoplasty and secondary
Gore-Tex dorsal nasal revision appears to have created a very nice and
proportionate nose. Certainly one can
always be very detail oriented in assessing outcomes in millimetres, but from
the photo submitted both length and projection of your nose and shape of your
bridge is far superior to your pre-operative photo and falls more in norm with
the classic facial proportions and nasofacial balance. It can sometimes be a shock when a
significant reduction rhinoplasty results in a more delicate and refined nose
in your situation a third revision would likely be ill-advised unless, of course,
you are completely and absolutely certain that your nasal tip is under
projected. I do feel you look relatively
balanced and quite attractive and the rhinoplasty surgeon has created a much
more balanced and attractive nasofacial proportion and appearance.

Certainly visit with your surgeon, perhaps undergo some
computer imaging to see if nasal tip augmentation will allow you to be more
content with the nice results that you’ve achieved thus far.

In the final analysis sometimes it’s best to wait a year to
after rhinoplasty surgery to fully digest and assimilate the impact of changing
ones nasofacial balance especially when you had a large dominant nose both in
projection, bridge bump and length.

I have been fortunate to be trained in both ENT otolaryngology
as well as plastic surgery and I’ve been performing rhinoplasty for over 20
years. My advise to you would be not to
undergo complex reconstruction, but accept a nice improvement and enjoy your
new nasofacial balance and proportion.
