In our experience, the best way to achieve predictable nasal narrowing is with rhinoplasty surgery. Nasal injectable fillers may lead to a wider appearance. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
Yes with a robust filler injected onto the nasal bridge, you should expect more definition and improved light reflection giving the appearance of a thinner, more defined bridge.
Liquid rhinoplasty involves placing filler into the nose for camouflage. It works best for people that have a dorsal hump or want a bit of tip elevation. Placing filler on the dorsum of your nose may help but is unlikely going to give you the look you want. It would be better to also post a lateral view picture to see if you can gain more tip elevation from filler. An actual rhinoplasty may be more suitable for you. Thank you!
A liquid rhinoplasty would probably not make a big difference. While it can add definition, it is more appropriate for people who have dents that they'd like to fill in from a profile view. If you are looking to slim down your nose, you will likely need a surgical rhinoplasty.
I get this question and all the time! In most cases your nose will appear smaller with filler added in a non- surgical rhinoplasty. While we're actually adding volume to the nose, the fact that it's straighter gives the appearance that it's smaller. In general, noses should be unrecognizable. And what I mean by that, is you don't want to remember someone's nose. It's just sort of there. When the nose is straighter, big or small, we don't remember it. So while it is in fact larger it appears smaller. Good luck with your NSR! I'm sure you'll love the results.
When it comes to serious complications with dermal fillers, the largest factor in our opinion is the person holding the syringe. The key to avoiding serious complications is understanding the vascular anatomy of the nose. Many areas of the nose, including the central nasal bridge, or devoid of...
It is very important for a surgeon to understand the vascular anatomy of somebody's nose. The central nasal bridge is a safe area to inject since there are few significant blood vessels in this area. Sometimes on unqualified injectors may push too much product too fast, near a blood vessel....
Hello and thank you for your question. Honestly, surgery is the best option to address your situation- you have a very obviously crooked nose and widened glabella (representing widened nasal bones). In order to make your nose appear straighter with fillers, you would need to try to mask the...
