Do you perform alar base reductions with lip lift?

Do you perform these procedures together or separately? Is it safe to do them separately? Considering doing them separately would mean cutting through the same incision line more than once?

It is not advisable to do both together. The scarring can be extensive. Give at least a year between both procedures.

Performing these two procedures together is an excellent way to accomplish two goals at one surgery!
By bringing in less lip upward into the liplift excision, you can accomplish both goals!

The two procedures can be done together, if you know how to do it.
