Do you perform these procedures together or separately? Is it safe to do them separately? Considering doing them separately would mean cutting through the same incision line more than once?

You may be looking at a scar from an open rhinoplasty which makes an incision between the nostrils. However you can also use that incision to shorten the columella but cutting out a small segment of skin

It is almost impossible to achieve nostril symmetry. Any attempts can lead to taking too much off one side and then going back to take some more from the other side. As this goes on permanent scarring with poor healing can lead to worst asymmetry than before the surgery was done. Also, it is...

There are many different patterns for alarplasty. In your case I would reduce the flare of the nostrils and narrow the nostril floor. Some surgeons are very conservative with this procedure while others more aggressive. Done surgeons don’t like doing them at all

5 mm ajar reduction is pretty substantial. I assume you will be awake during the surgery and can give your opinions. During the procedure. I perform one side first and then give the patient a mirror before I start the second side. You can look at it after the first side is done and decide if 5...
