Hello, i am not happy with the width of my nose. The nostril width and the width of the middle section. I am considering alarplasty. But i have some concerns: i wonder if the nostrils base and the midle parte must be alined ? Or is it possible to have the nostrils a bit higher, which i find more beautiful. Also can alarplasy help with the middle section width ? Can good results be achieved with my thick skin ?

Good Afternoon! Alar base reduction can be very effective for narrowing the width of the nostrils. 5 mm of overall reduction (2.5 mm per side) is appropriate based on your pictures. If that was mentioned per side, I would be very cautious. The problem with narrowing the nostrils too much is it...
If only a small amount of skin is required to be removed to narrow the nostrils, then inside approach can accomplish your goals. If there's significantly wide nostrils, then an external incision is required. Either way it can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure
The scar from a lip lift is well hidden as is an alar plasty. You need a physical exam to decide of these procedure will be right for you. Your smile may show too much of you gums with a lip lift. Good luck!
