This depends entirely on the type of procedure that was performed. This is no an uncommon (yet not ideal) outcome for a mastopexy, especially one that only has a scar around the areola.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Thank you for your question. It is hard to say, but most likely the scars stretched a little bit overtime. This can happen due to tension on the skin (especially if you have an implant). This can be revised with a scar excision and good aftercare - silicone scar treatment etc. good luck.

Micro-needling could be helpful to soften the scar. Surgeons cannot control the final outcome of the scar because of how tissue heals.

From the photos, those are top notch scars, nothing to criticize here. Be grateful to your surgeon and stay with him/her.
