Hello, hope you are well. The slope of your lower forehead is determined by the brow bone. Forehead contouring can be performed to reduce the prominence of this ridge to create a more vertical profile. This is performed under general anesthesia through an incision in the scalp.

I have personally achieved very gratifying results when treating various types of undesirable forehead sloping and indentation using an appropriately low viscosity, malleable, cohesive HA filler injected properly throughout the depression that is distorting the profile appearance. The forehead, owing to the nature of its underlying vasculature, is not an area to be left to the novice hands of inexperienced injectors accustomed to only using plain Restylane or ordinary Juvederm to fill smile folds. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.

This is a common procedure for me to perform. We can address this in two primary ways. (1) We can remove the prominent ridge at the bottom near your eyebrows. This will already make your forehead look more vertical. (2) We can fill in above to reduce the slope but it makes your forehead heavier.

Option 1 is more common and takes about 90 minutes.
