HELP - Extreme loss of fat in 1 cheek - is fat grafting the best solution? (Photo)

Question

Im only 25, and there is a drastic loss of volume in 1 of my cheeks most likely caused by sleeping on that side extensively. Within the past week and a half it seems to have gotten more noticeable and there is even slight pain there from time to time. Realistically, what are my options as a 25 year old to treat this? I'm not interested in getting into dermal fillers where I have to return once or twice every year, is fat grafting the solution for me?

Based on your photo, it appears that the addition of fat would improve the contour of your malar/sub malar and buccal space. Filler is not a good alternative for those areas, and, of course, is only a temporary solution.  Do see someone experienced in fat transfer because if it is over done it can feminize the face.

Fat grafting is a good option  to correct cheek hollowness'. however multiple procedure may be necessary
