I had a 360 degree bbl and had developed fibrosis . Most of them have gone with time but still got some imperfection in my tummy area . What are the actual efficient treatment to help get the rid of this fibrosis in 2022 . Thank you
Answer: Correcting imperfections Correcting imperfections requires use of VASER liposuction, Renuvion skin contraction, and strategic tucking of skin that can be done along your pubic region (termed mini tuck) or along the inframammary crease (termed reverse tummy tuck). To determine which maneuvers will be required for you, a virtual consultation with an expert body contouring surgeon would be very beneficial.

Answer: Fibrosis What most people referred to as fibrosis after liposuction is a combination of excessive fat removal with corresponding scar tissue formation. both conditions are difficult to reverse. Restoring excessive fat removal with fat grafting is often not successful and aggressive liposuction typically leaves scar tissue which is also difficult to reduce or remove without creating more scar tissue. After the fact it is a challenging problem. The most important variable is choosing an experienced surgeon who will not leave uneven fat distributions or over treat patients. I wish I had some better recommendations but over zealous Liposuction is difficult to correct. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
