Hi I received cool sculpting on my stomach around 7 years ago, then had lipo in the same areas around 2016/2017…It looked good but had a ridge. I ended up with ridges and an uneven stomach…a year or two later l had cool sculpting again. My stomach now looks deformed and like it has ridges. The pubic area is always puffy and sticks out. I’m not sure exactly what it is and how to deal with it. I workout and eat healthy. What kind of doctor can I see to determine what’s going on? What options ?
Answer: Uneven after liposuction Dear Reserved9897, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Liposuction We would recommend going to see a plastic surgeon & having them evaluate your stomach to determine if you would be best having more liposuction done. Also consider going to a Plastic Surgeon that has Devices to assist for example Emsculpt NEO, BodyTite and Morpheus8 Body to help get the results that you want.

Answer: Addressing CoolSculpting Irregularities You have paroxysmal adipose hyperplasia (PAH). High definition VASER liposuction performed by a VASER specialist, is the gold standard in correcting your contour irregularities and divots created by your multiple treatments. The Gold Standard for superior liposuction results requires use of the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I perform full body liposuction cases every week. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently resulted in outstanding liposuction outcomes. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of degree of excess fat by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. If skin redundancy is observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Concerns regarding a Abdomen Your pictures show a pretty normal looking abdomen with mild skin laxity. If someone doesn’t like the way their abdomen looks it is usually always because of one or more of four variables. The sire skin laxity, subcutaneous fat, muscle separation from previous pregnancies called diastasis recti or excess visceral fat. In your case it comes down to skin versus subcutaneous fat. To differentiate how much skin is contributing try pulling up on your skin to remove the laxity above the area of concern. With your skin under tension you will see the exact fat distribution and notice if that is creating contour issues. If problems are related to fat distribution then liposuction of some form is probably the most appropriate. Secondary Liposuction is technically much more difficult than primary liposuction. Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe so if you’re going to have intervention it needs to be done by someone who is very talented at Liposuction or things can get worse. If pulling on your skin does not help you differentiate if this is related to mild skin laxity or subcutaneous fat distribution then scheduled in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. Look for providers who seem to have a particular interest or skill in doing Liposuction procedures. I’ll plastic surgeons will claim to be good at Liposuction just about but in reality average results leave something to be desired in my opinion. Based on your pictures my best guess is that the contour issues are more related to skin laxity. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
