When is it safe to have facial fillers after Septoplasty?

I would check with your surgeon before undergoing injections in the region near where your surgery was performed.  Most likely you will be given permission to proceed but I would definitely check this out first.

While there is no definite answer, I suggest waiting until all bruising and swelling have resolved and your surgeon has cleared you to have fillers. 

There is no true time frame other than when your surgeon determines that there is no longer any significant swelling of the face that would distort the injection procedure.  Good luck

There is really no exact recommended time, but I usually tell patients that it is best to wait until the majority of swelling has settled down so that we can use an accurate amount of fillers to produce the best result. Sometimes, if they are put in too early, the swelling from the surgery can distort the region and lead to us wishing we had used more or less filler...

I tell people to wait 2 weeks after facial surgery, but most will say to wait longer.  There is no evidence that waiting is important at all.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Typically 6 weeks should be suffice to have injectables. That being said, ask your surgeon when would be appropriate for your particular scenario. Best, 

I would recommend checking with your surgeon to see when he or she feels it is appropriate for you to have facial fillers after your septoplasty.  Personally, I think it would be fine for you to have the fillers in your lips and nasolabial folds a week after your surgery, but it is always best to check with your particular surgeon.

at least 4-6 weeks before considering the injectable fillers.

From the description, it sounds like you had a rhinoplasty since you had tip refinement in addition to your septoplasty. There is typically swelling around the nose and nasolabial folds that will decrease after a couple weeks. I would wait several weeks to ensure all swelling has subsided prior to getting filler in the lips and nasolabial folds. This will ensure that you are filled appropriately and avoid any dissatisfaction if you have swelling that subsides after filler is injected.
