Game Changer
I was diagnosed with lipedema on July 3, 2023. After years of setbacks, I finally had Stage 3 bilateral arm surgery with Dr. Adam on August 3, 2026. He is extremely thorough and took my request for bloodless medicine seriously, ensuring I was protected from blood exposure, clotting, and infection throughout the entire process. He removed nearly 3 liters of lipedema fat from my arms. Within three weeks, I saw measurable improvements — better lab numbers, reduced strain on my upper

An Amazing Dr
Four weeks ago, I underwent lipedema surgery with Dr. Adam Schaffner in New York, and I wanted to share my experience. Before traveling to New York, I had never really heard of lipedema. It is still largely unknown in my country, and I only became aware of it through my own research and curiosity. Since I was already planning to be in New York, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Schaffner to better understand whether what I had been experiencing for years could actually

Exactly What I Hoped For!
I had lipedema liposuction of the legs (mainly the knee area) with Dr. Schaffner, and I couldn’t be happier! From my first virtual consultation to every follow-up, he was incredibly thorough, kind, and responsive; no question ever went unanswered. He genuinely cares and was always available, even replying directly from his own phone. The office staff was amazing, especially in helping me after surgery, and my nurse aide was an absolute gem; so patient and caring. I’m only 4 months

2. “A Rare Blend of Surgical Skill and Human Touch”
It is never an easy task for a patient who is also a physician to choose another doctor—especially when it involves surgery. We tend to analyze every detail, scrutinize every credential, and often carry a heightened sense of anxiety because we know what could go wrong. For this reason, finding the right surgeon is not only about skill but also about trust, humanity, and genuine care. I recently underwent a minor surgical procedure with Dr. Adam Shaffner, and the experience

Honest, Caring and Exceptional Plastic Surgeon!
I cannot recommend Dr. Schaffner highly enough! From the moment I first met him 11 years ago for my breast augmentation, I was struck by his honest and caring approach. His amazing bedside manner made me feel completely at ease, and he took the time to truly understand my concerns and desires. After my initial procedure, I had such an incredible experience that I didn’t hesitate to return to him for a consultation on another procedure. What impressed me most was his integrity;
