Are there increased risks if you catch COVID after liposuction?

I am a 30 y/o healthy female (normal BMI) looking to get lipo of the medial thigh. Would catching COVID in the post-op period significantly increase the risk of serious complications from the surgery (such as blood clots) or increase the risk of COVID developing into a more serious infection (requiring ventilation or causing death) because you are essentially immunocompromised after surgery? How long should I quarantine after surgery so there are no longer increased risks if COVID is contracted?

Absolutely not, liposuction only works on the superficial fat and skin it will not help anyting internally. I suggest you see an expert and I would suggest virtual hormonal optimization which we do daily in our practice. Best, Dr. Emer.

Hello and thanks for your question. Based on your photos, you are not good candidate for liposuction. Your body weight is so high for liposuction. If you lose weight, you can get better result after liposuction.
