I have endometriosis.Will laser lipo help bring down the pain I feel during a flair up due to less pressure in the area?

I have endometriosis, and I've been struggling with weight since I started exhibiting symptoms 10 years ago. Now I feel as if I'm having more pain due to the weight that is in my front abdominal area. I have tried diet and exercise, homeopathic remedies, pain control and I just can't lose the weight. Will laser lipo help alleviate some of the pain I've been feeling from Endometriosis?

absolutely not, liposuction only works on the superficial fat and skin it will not help anyting internally. I suggest you see an expert and I would suggest virtual hormonal optimization which we do daily in our practice. Best, Dr. Emer.

Liposuction does not in anyway effect endometriosis.  Liposuction will remove a certain amount of weight and weight removal may make you feel better but it is not related to the endometriosis.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. It is unlikely that liposuction will help you with pain. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Contrary to popular belief, liposuction is not a weight-loss procedure. Yes, subcutaneous fat is removed from the body, but only from certain areas. It’s a cosmetic procedure that leads to smoother skin and a more sculpted figure, but it’s not intended to help someone who is obese lose weight. Proper diet and exercise are highly encouraged after recovering from the procedure to upkeep the intended results. 
Ideal candidates for liposuction are at or near their ideal weight and will have good skin elasticity. The procedure is intended to remove stubborn pockets of fat that don’t respond to regular exercise, so the skin does need to be able to smooth back into place after the procedure is complete.

Obesity needs to be managed through changing eating habits.

Liposuction has no impact on the symptoms of endometriosis.

There are surgical treatments for endometriosis but they are not in Liposuction.

Please discuss treatment options for endometriosis with an appropriate OB/GYN physician.
